Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts show features over 95 regional and local artisans selling a wide range of handmade items. These include linens, stained glass, candles, and jewelry. Admission does not cost anything, and there are prize drawings as well.

White’s Ferry

White’s Ferry is one of the most exciting things you will witness in Leesburg. It operates the last of a hundred formerly active cable ferries on the Potomac between Virginia and Maryland. It transports vehicles and pedestrians from 5 AM to 11 PM. In a group, you can also use it for special functions.

Morven Park

Morven Park is known as the Central Park of Loudoun County, one of Leesburg’s most famous places. Historically, the earliest structures in Morven Park were built around 1780. Over two thousand guests visit the park every year. You can find the Winmill Carriage Museum, the Museum of Hounds and Hunting in North America, and the Morven Mansion in this historic horse park and estate.

Leesburg Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting

Of all things, this lighting ceremony is one of the most memorable things to do for Christmas in Leesburg. It features performances from local elementary and high schools.

The mayor, council, and several guest speakers offer their rich words as well. You can participate in a holiday sing-along and stay in the town for Leesburg’s First Friday event. In there, local merchants and businesses remain open late to celebrate the festivities.
